Recurring Migrant, Homeless and Vulnerable Adult Programs

Recurring Migrant, Homeless and Vulnerable Adult Programs primarily supports organizations that help the vulnerable in the community. These programs affect individuals and families that span age ranges from the unborn through the elderly.There may also be one-time donations to other groups supporting migrant, homeless and vulnerable adults.

St Joan of Arc Church

We support various activities of the St Joan of Arc community. These include Holy Ghost Sandwich Makers, Socks and Underwear drive, equipment replacement, maintenance items, volunteers for Summerfrest and so on.

Knights and their widows

In this sense, we include seminarians, those in diaconate training, and other religious training.We keep in touch with our Knights and their widows to ensure that they feel part of our community. Activities include Treat and Greet, Perpetual Memorial and Mass Cards, and Heaven’s Helpers.

Dominican Home Healthcare

Dominican Home Healthcare: “Our mission is to provide quality nursing care and related services to the sick in their own homes. We give priority to the poor, foster the integrity of family life and assist the elderly and chronically ill to stay at home. We provide these services without regard to the origin, creed or other status of the individual”

Sister Molly’s Migrant Workers

Sister Molly’s Migrant Workers: "“Sister Molly has been working in Hispanic pastoral ministry with migrant workers since 1993,. .. attending to the migrants' physical, spiritual and emotional needs. She provides food and clothing, medical assistance, transportation, sacramental preparation, counseling, prison visitations, court appearances, documentation processing, legal aid and, above all, friendship.”

Mary’s Homes of Hope

Mary’s Homes of Hope ministers to women who have experienced homelessness.

“When a woman moves into the home, she has the opportunity to learn from workshops offered by professionals, participate in Bible studies and faith classes, and budget her income while paying a small rent based on her earnings and bills.”

Giving Tree

This is a St Joan of Arc Church Outreach Ministry program that we support to provide Christmas presents to many different organizations.

Net proceeds above the budgeted amount for a particular fundraiser or memberships dues are used where either there is no fundraising event associated with a particular beneficiary, or additional funds  from another fundraising event are required to meet a need.
