Each year, the council has a sleeping bag drive to benefit the homeless. The council agrees upon a target for the number of sleeping bags to be provided in a given year. Donations of sleeping bags are accepted and distributed, and a donation is also budgeted to buy additional sleeping bags.
The drive is announced in the parish bulletin, and posters may be posted on parish hall doors.
